I haven't drawn any Zelda fanart in a long time. Wow. I actually used to draw this stuff almost exclusively.

I was especially obsessed with Link's Awakening, for some reason. Actually, I'm being coy, I know the reason. It's because I was a young teenager and was just discovering the concept of romance. I'm pretty sure I was in love with Marin from LA in an almost creepily real world sense. Or something. I don't know, but I was pretty obsessed with this stuff back then.

I actually have the game on my 3DS and I haven't replayed it yet. I should do that one of these days.

We had similar experiences playing this game. I feel a bit of a kinship with you through this, because you've taken a piece of my heart and manifested it with paint to be visible to the world. It's powerful to have that feeling revived so poignantly by someone else who felt it too.
